Permanent economy and spending

How to prioritize permanent spending around bottlenecks instead of buying every upgrade evenly.

Permanent economy and spending

Permanent currency is most valuable when it removes the weakness that is ending your runs. Spending everything evenly feels safe, but it often delays the first upgrade that would actually change the result of the next attempt.

Buy for the next problem

Before spending, identify the failure pattern from the previous runs. If enemies survive too long, prioritize offensive scaling. If the build collapses during pressure windows, survivability or control may have higher value. If the run is already stable but progression is slow, economy and consistency upgrades become more attractive.

The Permanent Shop articles show which purchases are seeded into the live run and how they interact with normal in-run progression. Use those canonical pages for current values and caps.

Avoid duplicate value

Permanent bonuses can stack with passives, weapons and other systems. That is useful when the stack supports the plan, but wasteful when it overinvests in a stat that is no longer the bottleneck. Compare the permanent purchase with the effects your usual heroes and builds already obtain naturally.

Keep a reserve when planning an unlock

When a specific unlock, evolution or new hero is the next objective, avoid emptying the account on marginal upgrades immediately before that goal. A small reserve gives you flexibility to adapt once the new system is available.

Re-evaluate after a breakthrough

A purchase that was essential before an arena clear may become lower priority afterward. Rebuild the spending order whenever you unlock a new hero, special weapon, relic, arena or permanent system.
